Yep, at the Fenwick banquet on Sunday coach Polka announced that after the 08 season he will step down after 42 years of the program he started. And the new head coach will be coach Rill. To which the parents gave a standing ovation, much to Davids embarasment you know he HATES the spot light! (for real he does). Hooray! Very exciting. Does he get a set of those magnificent polyester "coaching shorts" or do just football coaches wear those?
We couldn't be more proud! Can you believe how God has used a talent an interested coach discovered in a middle school boy?
