Sunday. It's ok to brag.

over kill you say? well my mom made this for Skylar and was never able to finish it. Aunt lynn finished it for Grayden and it finally fits! When I put it on this morning I truly did tear up.She never could have imagined she was knitting for her grandson 7years later that she would never even meet. She has been gone over 4 years and I love these pop up reminders of her. So needless to say I love these photos and say what you might I'm putting them all in.

Friday update

Ijust love this shirt. It's a pirate shirt and I think he looks cute in it.
today Olivia was "babysitting" looks like shes doing a great job.
Grayden is really into "choo choo trains" right now and our entire living room floor is full of it.

Wednesday, Chris and his gator girls.

go gators!

The Rills are in the holiday spirit!

Macy's (fields) windows. This year is Mary Poppins, LOVED it!
this one was my favorite window
of coarse you had to include this one, so fun. It was so great going early, we didn't wait for the walnut room (waits get into the 2 hour range after thanksgiving, why we never took the kids) the kids saw the windows up close. the ornament room well we really had it to ourselves. I think we found an ,enter into the season, tradition.

dinner at the Walnut room

we got a great table right under the tree.

checking out the self timer.

Coach Rill takes his team to state for a second time.

5 out of 7 runners ran their personal best, you can't ask for more than that.
we are almost professional spectators
Coach Rill and Polka are making going to the state C.C. meet a habit
300 runners 13,000 people cheering, no rain it was a great day.

Happy 85th (great) grandma!

again out of order anyone know the trick?
Olivias homemade gifts tissue flowers and a painted picture frame.

we sang, ate cake, and opened gifts a mini party but it was fun as you can see. Grandma said "I don't even feel 85" born in 1921 what an extraordinary life she has had.

Halloween it was a busy day and we photographed it all

our first stop was upstairs to see grandma and grandpa
rats I selected the one with Sky not looking.
these are out of order but we picked up 430 taffy apples and bagged and stapled tracks on them all before noon. everyone helped even gray. this was for trunk or treat.

our second stop Alden old folks home.

we started going here when Davids grandma and Elsie were there(many years ago) and every year the kids ask "are we gonna go to the home again this year?" I'll tell you what my kids ask to make old people happy I'm taking them.

Trunk or treat

here is our trunk ready for action

this really was the most fun I think i've ever had on halloween. it was so fun. and I know a lot of people don't do halloween but I love it. When else can you dress up, get to know complete stangers and give their kids candy and in return actually here kids tell you thank you? Leave the scary stuff behind and it's a fun day I think.

I love moments like these because I totally remember doing this as a kid.
shouldn't be a surprise but this was I think his 6th sucker( at 9:30 pm) it seems everytime I turned around he had another one in his mouth.
