This ones for Rhonda, but read along.

this week we had our baby B from safe families and as I was changing her diaper Gray said "hey she looks just like hot chockie" (what Rhonda calls hot chocolate, and so do we). He can be so cute, and how innocent and fresh is that. It will keep me going for a while.

no camera, no pictures.

what you say Tammy with no camera is it true? well not fully my purse camera is in the shop, thanks Brooke for convincing me to but the warranty, so all I have is the huge one and I don't enjoy carring that one around or leaving it in the car. My hope is to have it back by winterfest. But to give you updates. Baby "B" is back home already she was the perfect baby and told Lydia if she need time away again (like giving birth) to give us a call we'll be there. I however have been SICK! I never get sick, and I have had 2 back to back. First flu, gross, and now head cold, annoying, but if this is it for the year I'll be happy to check it off my list. David has also got the same illnesses I have ,he always gets sick, but thankfully hasn't gotten them as bad as I have. none of the kids got the flu and only a few of them the cold. G has remained healthy and has a one month check up at the Dr. in the morning so we will see how that goes. As for his life changing after tonsils as I had hoped, NO, he is just a handful tonsils or no. Eating has no complaints so that's great but no other improvements to speak of, sad.

another child in the double digits, yikes!

yep that's right Sky is ten and we start off the day how else? sticky buns, thumbs up.

then we were off for the auto show
" you can just give me this for my birthday"
the army booth was my favorite

they drove this tank over and right in to the exibit hall, the helicopter landed in the parking lot and rolled in. I would have love to have been there on that day. I asked this soldier if he drove it in he said no I drove it in Iraq I let my guys have a turn. FYI this tank hold 6 soldiers, and where he is sitting is where 4 missles usually sit and it will go 65 mph. wow!

this is the monster .thank God for our armed forces.
this really is a truck could be yours for 8,000. it was like a toy car sooooo cheepy! I think it's safe to say there are no air bags.
this was my favorite car display it was really cool and all our kids won these cool Scion caps, surprise gray wasn't interested in such a normal photo
7:00 of to dinner, yes we were at the auto show ALL day. His pick Hard Rock.
this was funny because G had been telling Sky all day that he got him a simon. We would say something like the bags empty I guess you don't have anymore gifts, G would say "yeah I got him simon" or "sky do you like simon?" "i can't wait till you open my simon" so Sky did a wonderful job at being excited to get simon from G. you can tell G was so happy to give it to him too.

they made him stand in the middle of the restaurant and we all shouted Happy Birthday! he was embarassed that explains the hood
Liv wanted to make it a football cake
with lots of sprinkles
Sky got a sleeping bag , G got the box.

K B sleeps over

the great thing about having your own sledding hill is that you can sled till midnight if you want to!

it was cold, we were there

last Saturday, aunt lynns birthday,we went down for our favorite saturday night activity. Yep more fireworks, we love them, and it was COLD! Luckily we are tuff.
we pulled our old 3d glasses and brought them with for a great show.

our annual paczkis day celebration

we had a great turn out this year sadly these are all the pictures I got of this fantastic holiday.

chicago history museum

I couldn't take it anymore I had to get out! So we went to a place we have never been, which it great. It was an awsome family day something we haven't done in to long. If you live in the city check it out we loved it. you can make yourself a chicago style hot dog

they should sell them there in the cafe but they don't. we all had a craving after this.

this was cool you custom design your own giant postcard by picking chicago sights and they show it on the wall.

very cool, I wish you could print and buy it!

it was a great day all around.

our super bowl party

we stayed home the 5 of us and partied we made tons of football food ,for 5 people 4 of the kids, and sat in our loungers watching. We really were cheering for the Pats for our east coast cousins, so sad jimmy c, they were so close! well we had fun together, grandma and aunt june even got to enjoy the feast of snacks.

snow day #2- dad gets to play

David came home and right away got dragged outside
he blew up the igloo
started a fire
let the boys shovel off the roof
let me just say, it is so awsome raising your kids in the home you grew up in! I got choked up taking this picture of Sky because that was me up there with my brother and dad(grandpa) 30 years ago. Everytime I see them doing things I did and loved doing it makes heart smile!
then we headed down town after having dinner at the soupbox recommended by Leslie, 12 soups everyday yum. then on to the river for fireworks where we met up with some great people to watch with.this picture is uncle Gladdy holding Gray
B and Sky and let me say other than the fireworks you light in your back yard this was the closest I have ever been to them it was bright and loud and totally cool!
our party of friends
so when we got to the river we walked over to the tent of the radio station sponsoring the show to see if they had those cool 3d glasses, they didn't but they DID have 6 tickets FREE for us to walk right over to the theater and see the Hannah Montana concert movie only in theaters for a week we came to learn! oh yeah $90 of tickets for free! we were parked at a meter so we gave it another quarter and walked in to the show. booyah 50 cent night!
so it was a 3 D movie, cool, and it was 90% full of girls under 9. The movie was great it followed her doing a concert which ment we got to hear a ton of music, David exspecially liked the base player, you know us we love music . However what we didn't expect was that the girls in the theater thought it really was the concert and were dancing in the isle with glow sticks, singing as loud as can be, screaming when the Jonas brothers came on (every time) it was unbelievable. I have never seen anything like it. but the movie it's self was great and FREE!

then we went over to millenium park to see the ice art, which was our original plan to do after fire works, it was interesting as you can see. I was expecting more like sculptures so you can see it is not. this is the lake side

this is the bean side
we like this side better. it is supposed to be up all month and change as it melts. So I guess just the color will change . you can see that the entire section is one big cooling coil, which explains how it can stay a month. there is also a warming tent with activities but it was closed by the time we arrived. It is worth seeing but don't plan a day around it, do it after fire works by the river at 6:30 every sat. in Feb. on the river. find a meter and have yourself a 50 cent night!
