Sparks is the place to be!

50 sparkies trick or treating through the church
this was my favorite costume- the basket of laundry

our Olympic gymnast team

this is one of my friends who loves to dress up like I do
the kids were so excited, they said "we never trick or treated inside before" I just let them think I made up the idea
our gold medalists

still LOVE dress up! (I've certainly got my $5 worth out of that costume W's wearing)

she says she will be a firefighter on Friday lets hope

me and Prince Caspian (from Narnia) no surprise his sword broke before clubs even began. Sorry you missed it aunt betty and uncle Gladdy it may have been our best year ever!

pumpkins a plenty

we had our annual carving party tonight

she cleaned hers out all by herself! bonus for me

uncle gladdy I think we may need a bigger table next year

thankfully Sarah was there to help gray

then the real work begins

but fun work

silly pickle

our wonderful creations

little A looks so cute in this one and notice livs mickey ears and grays surprise that his lid fell in
the rills finished product
notice the tie dye pumpkin shirts we made while erin was in

I really do love doing pumpkins every year this one was certainly a huge success.

missions confrence 2008

as we always do the kids have their own missions conference. This year I asked one of the teachers to take pic's to see what they did (and because liv was such a cute sheep)
here they are making flat bread

"on our way to Canaan because the LORD has told us to"

stopping at the well

clever

I am thankful for the teachers we have for our kids

for the grown ups it was "missions old school" dress up in your favorite era here are the winners for best dressed, yeah go family!

totally rad!

always good to end the day with a book. What a fun day

pumpkin farm fun

Gray was so excited to take pictures with these wood cut outs

I love a run in picture

Liv was so funny she was trying to teach the animals to behave "ok everyone can have some but no pushing or you won't get any, hey, hey I said no pushing..."

it was pouring rain so we took refuge in the animal tent for a long while. Actually it was clever how they sold the animal food it was a ice cream cone full of the seedy food then they poured a bit on the lg spoon or just feed them out of the cone which cut out actual contact with the animals

then when the seeds were gone you held the cone up and the giraffe snatched it up and ate it

the hay maze also under a tent

during the worst of the rain we ate lunch then came back to the corn maze
even a pumpkin kart can be fun

again we are safe from the rain

we very wet, cold but the kids loved this adventure of a day
