a grand wedding

my cousin Todd got married on Sunday at the Rockefeller chapel, we were thinking chapel not holy cow huge

I would have loved to have walked this isle as a bride

getting to know new cousins which didn't take long at all
and enjoying the old ones too

passing the time while the bride and groom take photos

hard to see but the girls are partying in the limo

as we leave the chapel
the reception
it was very small and fun
congratulations Todd and Mayra

it's all about a future friar this week

B has been training for the Loyola invitational for the past few months

525 7th and 8th graders
he got out great. went right to the top 20 so he didn't get trapped
just over 1 mile
in 7min 48 sec.

we found him right away
his cheering section
finally David found us ( he ran around the coarse to catch B at several spots we did not)so proud ,I didn't cry, I've had people ask already but nope

G with the great view
God is so good in giving B such awesome jam leaders
MY BOY # 13 out of 525!!! not bad for his first race.
then we headed to the beach while the other races went on

love it
you can almost hear them say "cheese"

what a wonderful morning we hope there are many more races in store.

The body of Christ...

Here is a picture of one of our pastors who used to be our student, I am very proud to say, and now both our kids play together, which I love, here they are watching wonderful things together. laughing, singing and even dancing. Us 2 moms just sat back smiling, it made it very hard to leave church tonight. God really is good.

cross country is a beautiful sport

one thing I love about the sport is Gods beautiful nature we see every week. The season begins when it's warm then we see the leaves change and fall and sometimes even frost and snow all in such a short season. I love that it's outdoors and it's simple the fastest person is the winner
and this week Fenwick was very fast
and the winners! Our first 5 runners (that's how you score in cc) were in the top 8! a 26 point total which is like wow! They are ranked 9th in the state. This was a huge day for Fenwick in the next weeks people will be saying " oh look fenwick is here". Herb and Merilynn you should be so proud of your boy he has made quite another name for himself as a friar.
cleaning up. Gray must be really strong, he is the only one lifting the one side
