June 29 th

one day after we got home Gray found scissors and cut of his Disney wrist bands. He came to show me and at that very moment he grew up to me. he has had them the last 4 1/2 months. no one could get him to take them off. then one day he didn't need them anymore. I must admit I was sad.

St. Louis.

36 hours after we got home from camp we left for st. louis to visit Chris Rapp. for livs birthday. If you are looking for a long weekend spot it is a fun little city with plenty of fun things to do. I recommened it. we used every hour we packed so much in to our visit saw so much had fun with Chris and a great b-day celebration.

Olivia is 5,

now the time is 3:22 am so you will understand that my posts are out of order. so I will tell you how our day went and then just enjoy the photos. up,gifts, the magic house ( a kids museum) then we meet Chris and Laura at the zoo, lunch, dinner, walk down the river front to the arch, up it, back to hotel more gifts, swim sleep. we used every hour of the day. see had a full birthday.

The magic house

static ball. BIG
BIGGER
BIGGEST!
yikes, that was cool!

G won for the longest hang, he really is a monkey
3 story slide. the went on this like 15 x.

The Jefferson national expansion memorial

That's right it's not really called the arch. after dinner we walked down the river to the "arch" and took the tram up to the top
this is us in the pod style elevator which normally would seat 4.
at the peak
looking out the small windows. it was creepy to look down and see no building under you.

birthday dinner

now this is out of order because we ate after the zoo, know you will understand. the lady behind me is Lauras mom.

the crown is from C&L
after all this we went back to open more gifts and swim. Chris stayed with us at the hotel it was a great visit.

St. Louis zoo

hooray we meet up with Chris and Laura
boys only on the huge bug, yuck.
it was so so hot!
me and Gray rode the train which he loved.

the city museum

This was probably one of the most amazing places I have ever been, really. it is an old warehouse turned fun place. it is like some rich, artsy, tradesmen got together to but all these unbeleivable things together. the pictures won't even compare to the awsomeness of this wild place.these pictures are climbling structures attachted to the building. you enter them from floor 2. you can walk, crawl in every part of the structure

ok so you see this tunnel, if you enlarge it you will see it continues up, 7 stories up, right over the parking lot.now another cool thing is that for everyone of these tight spaces there is an adult , mom, friendly alternative.
this was the old elevator shaft. the boys are up there.

I did climb, crawl and slide but I payed for it the next 4 days of hip pain. junk.

the botanical gardens

this is of coarse the chinese garden, but the fun thing about this one is that it was a self timed picture. David set it up and ran around the lake to get in. some people there applauded him upon his success. I love run in pics
they conquered th rock.
this was the water feature and boy it was hot so it was a wonderful treat.
no explanation needeed

So sorry.

For those of you who are frequent viewers, I am sorry. However it's not my fault! Our internet was down for the last week. Believe me it was hard for me too. So poor yourself a cold beverage and catch up with the rills. Now I am not all updated but given the time I am stopping. Anyway it will give you more to look forward to this week!

back home.

on our way home we dropped off Tristan then headed straight for our new cousin. We were all so happy to meet "calebs baby",which is what they still call him. don't know why Jackson is so tricky, anyway upon meeting him Grayden says "he has feet and hands" so excited. but you will notice in the picture J doesn't have pants on, well Gray wasn't happy about that "were's his pants, courtney he has no pants, hey no pants" finally courtney just put pants on to stop grays worrying to which he said "how come he has no socks?"
G"nice baby" . O, finally gets to hold him.
it was a double treat! we got to see the new Mrs. Rummelhoff too! Olivia could not be any happier,a new baby and Brooke, heaven!

CPBC hold on its a long ride!

I adore this picture
hooray Colby!
our kids got the prize, by far, for the most mail. thanks to all who wrote, dinner line up was a big highlight for us.
same size.
I don't remember the name of this game, but (Brooke especially) notice olivias huge clifford in use! our donantion to the costume closet which gets used everyday at camp! Jenny had a leak in her sink at the craft house so the health officer came to the rescue
even livvy needed to visit the office
he did have time to be dad to.

this is the secret spot the 3 of us went one day now we weren't dressed for water you can imagine that we did have to change clothes after this visit.
livs wanted to take this one us in our sun glasses
then we found a caterpiller who is this girl?
