Friars, we love them.

so we took Chris and laura to their first meet (laura has a tank top on shes putting her shirt on maybe I should have waited to take the picture) it was the perfect day for running and our boys run like it. a great day for Fenwick.
Chris and Olivia waiting for the awards to start getting in a few winks.
"don't mess with the shield"

Friday fun at Navy Pier.

we picked up Laura, Chris' "lady" at Moody and headed down to the kids museum, free yeah, and had tons of chicago style fun.

usually I hate bugs, not this one.

curious George is at the museum, don't worry Caleb we will go back with you it was really fun.

Thursday with our favorite Floridian

we went to the museum of science and ind. his fav, and we went to all things we haven't done before. we had a blast!
coal miners totally brought me back to my field trip days.
the whisper room the boys loved it
"ah art"
now we have gone to this room, but the kids love the water so we visited it last. lots of free fun.

some how I don't think this is what they had in mind when they built this.

I'm going to sound old, but...

we met Wendy and the girls on Columbus day (thanks to Christopher for the holiday) at woodfield to celebrate T's birthday and she got her ears pierced and wanted me and Liv to be there, so cute! And I can't explain why but seeing her get them done I couldn't believe how big she's gotten, so crazy I kept thinking of the day she was born, her first breath, cry, the first time I held her, she made me auntie T! for some reason earrings in my eyes made her all grown up. Glad I was there for it. Thanks for inviting us T-Bone I love ya baby!
then on Wed. I think courtney and the boys stopped in, F-U-N. And again "oldness" just look at the bottom picture and you can just see the blessing family is. God is awsome.

And we were there.

yep the most infamous chicago marathon and David again was lead car for the wheelchairs, cool, and Chris Rapp came in town so lucky him (and his lady Laura) and Sky got to ride as well.
Abbies Chris ran his first marathon today ugh, AND FINISHED!

I think this was Grays high light of the day, he ran back and forth about 10 times before I made him stop. He drew a crowd of spectators even cheers!

I figure this must be Gray's mascot, he keeps going and going...

our picnic breakfast, also a tradition, except we are usually eating under blankets!

his offical race vehicle hat

one way to beat the heat
and a second. probably our last time in this one for the year.

A Dream come true.

it was a Thursday night, we were playing games and the phone rings. "this is blah blah friend of blah blah and we have 4 tickets for saturdays Michigan game interested?" WHAT? SCORE! so David made a few frantic calls. Brooke saves us again and takes the little kids (boy is our pay back list long with her) they were just as excited to go there as we were to go to the Big House. This That next thing you know we are off to "only on our dreams" the Big House. I know what you are saying, Tammy you hate football. True, I do however to be in the big house at my sons first football game I was super excited. 111,000. in attendance oh yeah!
notice this we stand the entire game. glad I didn't waist time finding the butt pads.
this picture is a tradition for Sky add it to the collection buddy.
A win for blue! And a dream come true for the Rills!

while we were there...

the little kids went to Brooke and Mikes, and Gray had his very first sleep over. Brooke said he slept great. they had a full day here are some high lights. they tried to trick me in to thinking they went to Disney world, ha ha very funny guys.
