The Rills excel at the pine wood derby.

Tuesday we are out again.

we went to Kohls childrens museum ,moved and much improved, with courtney and caleb.

but next time we go it will be straight to the music room! Gray and Caleb are drummers extrordinare.

Monday.

today we drove out to saiges school with Justy ,Janett and Jocelyn Bekius. Justy gave Saiges class a sigh language lesson it was very fun seeing what words 5 year old want to know in sign.
after we were done wendy let saige get out of school early so she could come with us, we went for ice cream yummy.

It's Easter Sunday!

sorry I forgot to turn this one.So I am so sad because I had this great picture to show you all that Kendell took of Gray and some how in the coarse of today it got DELETED. I am more than unhappy. so let me set the scene for you. there was no sunday school program at Bethel this year instead only the little kids went first in the 11 o'clock service to do the regular thing. I was worried Gray would not say his piece, he had had a hard morning. so he got up on stage, great not crying were doing ok, but he's all the way at the end so well wait and see. when to my surprise there infront of oh 400 plus, the entire church was FULL, he begins to pick up his shirt and show everyone his belly button. oh and not just once we got about 7,8 views of it.now great news he did say his piece"but big enouph to say" so we did on a happy note. so not sure should I keep him off the stage for fear of what might be shown next, or just keep the video running and hope for the best?

Disney 2/2007. some highlights from our favorite spot.

Sky turns 9 at Disney world. his 4th time celebrating with mickey.

this is our whole group minus Mike who had to leave early, what a great memory. Now I know it will come as no surprise to anyone when I say I LOVE DISNEY! I do, and not a day has past since we got back that we haven't talked about it, even ached to go back. luckly for me my husband and kids share my passion for those black ears. There are few places, if any, we would choose to go (that would obviously mean $ was no problem). This was 10 days of solid F-U-N and that wasn't long enouph for us.

3/1 winterfest

this year we went with David to winterfest. with 20'' of snow it was like a bit of heaven. it was so much fun hope you can tell from the pics, this is liv she insisted she could make her own path. I took this right before I went to rescue her.

Just cuz they're fun

on 3/10 Gray fell and hit his head (not the fun part) then on the 11th he woke up saying there was a noise in his ear. long story short we took him in to the ER to find he had a horrible double ear infection. she said this little guy has a high pain tolerance most kids would be sreaming with an infection 1/2 this bad. we thank God he fell, sounds wierd, but other wise we wouldn't have known about the ears. and the "noise" was all the fluid behind his ear drum swishing around, poor guy. he really wasn't acting sick you can tell by this picture taken in the ER at his delight of 2 popsicles, oh yeah looks like pain .just fun
yeah what can I say? the vest stayed on for at least 5 days.

well we were at the zoo.
it is all our familys spring break so we play along. I love lincoln park zoo I really do you can't see it but behind us are giraffes and behind that the john hancock. I mean does it get any better than that?

Last week was Kendells spring break so on tues. she slept over and wed. we went to the Peggy Notebart museum here are some highlights.

MY BOY IS 11!!

Today is Brixtons birthday so here is what he selected to do.have lunch with Brooke
(out of order) we had dinner at melting pot. which he didn't choose we just happened on to it but loved it. this was our dessert yummy.
and spent most of the day at the museum of science and industry. He said "it was a great day" which I am so glad to hear, you know birthdays are a HUGE deal in this house! so year 11 lets go bring it on!

we went to Bloomington IL for "top times " race for fenwick track. They did awsome. Coach Rill (still cracks me up when they call him that, on the flip side less a crack up they all call me mrs. Rill ) led his boys 4 x 800 team to a 8.01 finish cutting 7 seconds off their time. The coach was celebrating like a little kid it was really fun to be there. so these pictures are from the hotel. Now we are back so that means photos that fall in to the "oh Grayden" catagory. note he is ready for bed trying to close the door telling me "I gunna sweep here" now to show you what a great mom I am I did not let him suck me in to his cuteness. nope I am a rock.

Regretably this is a sad post(no photos). This new year has brought with it large amounts of stress and frankly this blog is not even close to the top of my list. So I am sorry to update that I have no idea when it will be fun again here at therills.blogspot. Hope you 07 is less stressful for you and your households. Tammy
