the girls (Saige= bat girl I am livvys flower girl and you will see Gairette changed to a cheer leader)
and boys ( B is Mr. Monopoly)
a handsome couple
a good portion of the Reg and Be offspring (Taylor is a Rill when with us). We all decided that the zoo didn't do that great of a job at having a holloween party, but the animals, weather and company were outstanding so I call this a fantastic fall day!

This side of us.
For most, if not all, of you reading this my not understand this part of our lives. It really began so many years ago when a large black man invited David to run. Then this man in the photo pulled strings to get David to run for him at Fenwick. There is so much of him in my husband. Running has made him who he is now, I truly believe this. And so now for him to coach with his coach at his school is a dream come true. very little gets his heart going like running . And we are his biggest fans, we love running as he does .and you may never know this side of us , but it a large part of who we are.
coach Rill is 3 for 3 down state.
that's right the UNRANKED Friars came in second at todays sectional which means Fenwick will be down state for the 3rd straight year oh yeah!
our boys came to run today and they ran out of their minds. Both coaches had smiles ear to ear! this was a big day for us.
and all the little Rills were on the side cheering.
the smallest friar.
after the race the boys gave football a try, humm not to sure about that.

Fun in China town
this year the boys asked if they could join the homeschool group that meets at our church. So actually all 3 of my schoolers go on Fridays while I go to my Friday Bible study, Gray goes to the nursery which is what they all did until now. So anyway this week we had a field trip to China town. All 6 of us went and had a great time. We did some shopping
saw the 9 dragons wall, ate dim sum,
then went to the Chinese Christian Union Church where a missionary family home from China shared with the kids. And the school kids from the churchs' school did a little program in mandarin for us which was cute
and one of their teachers taught us all to tie a Chinese knot
a knot for luck and happieness. It really was a fun day.
